Sara Gilbert knew she was gay after making out with Johnny Galecki

Sara Gilbert says that she realized she would have been a lesbian after making out with actor Johnny Galecki. And years in the future, Galecki said he'd still be happy to hold her hand.

The revelation came Thursday on "The Talk," where all week the cohosts are already sharing well-kept secrets. (On Monday, Sharon Osbourne copped to a "flingy wingy" with Jay Leno when she was 25; Tuesday, Aisha Tyler revealed her struggles with fertility, and Wednesday, Julie Chen discussed a person's eye surgery she'd had in the past to Westernize her Asian look.)

When it turned out Gilbert's turn, she explained that while she ran "Roseanne," she began dating Galecki, who played her boyfriend and then her husband on the program.

"I believed he was super cute coupled with an overall crush on him," she said, "and then we started dating anf the husband belly over and that we will make out and We would start making depressed."

Galecki, who's now on "The top Bang Theory," felt bad and began to go personally, Gilbert said, until she explained to him she thought it revolved around her sexuality -- she was coming to grips with as a lesbian.

After that, she said, he kept her secret close even as she did start to date a female 18 years her senior, who was simply also from the glare.

"It absolutely was something people might have discovered and Johnny, like, no-one knew for the show, for decades, and Johnny held the trick the whole time," she said. "And that i just felt so scared whether or not this arrived on the scene, what could happen. Could I lose my career? Would I ever have the ability to play a straight role again?"

Gilbert was clearly emotional as she told the story, as she often gets when discussing her sexuality and relationships on the program. She declared that though she's "thrilled" to get who the girl with and where she's in your everyday living, there's still a part of her that gets scared about being different.

She and Galecki will still be in touch, so she said she called him to share with him she would definitely discuss the challenge on the program, and was he At ease with that?

"The tale almost depends on you," Gilbert said she told him, "and you know I've got to express that we made out together with you but happened to be depressed, which can be form of a bummer!" She laughed.

"Anf the husband was like 'Yeah, no, course' and 'I like you' and 'I'm sure it is important' and 'I'm so like to show off you," and that he said, you recognize, if you need I'm going to be there and I'll hold you.

Just as before, aww.

"I just now believed that am sweet," she said, "and this story really makes Johnny stand out."
